Ad-hoc Mode doesn’t work for me at all. This project is no longer active. Works on Acer Aspire , after using ticket Ex that I’m trying to get working for Linux. Works absolutely perfect in BT4, just have to manually raise txpower and get way more APs than with any other wireless adapter I had, plus the speed and bandwidth is doubled than with other adapters.

My system is a Acer I can confirm that this chipset works great with the madwifi-ng drivers on Debian Testing. Fully works in Slackware It works OK with Slackware What’s more it seems partially fixed with todays release!
Cheap Ativa card works ok in gentoo. Works with madwifi 0. Several tickets indicate this; no response was ever given. Worked with latest svn build In Openhal the interface ath0 show up there aren’t any communication, the commands like iwlist return error.
